Terms of Service

By using Sweeties ("the app"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Overview

Sweeties is a mobile application that allows couples to exchange daily love notes. The service is provided by Joshua Kranefeld.

2. Account

You must create an account to use Sweeties. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose
  • Send harassing, threatening, or abusive content
  • Attempt to access another user's account
  • Interfere with the operation of the service
  • Create multiple accounts to abuse the service

4. Content

You retain ownership of the notes you write. By using the app, you grant us the right to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of delivering it to your connected partner. We do not monitor, review, or share your messages with anyone other than your partner.

5. Subscriptions

Sweeties offers optional paid subscriptions ("Sweeties Pro") that unlock additional features. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings.
  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app's Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

7. Disclaimer

Sweeties is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not responsible for any content exchanged between users.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the app.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
